Toddler Schedule

Toddlers are invited and encouraged to participate in the activities planned for them. However, if a toddler chooses not to participate, he or she will be allowed to play independently.

Diaper changing is a regular required part of each day. Diapers will be changed every 2 hours. The children are checked often to ensure that they are not in wet or soiled diapers and are changed promptly.

Toilet training is also a part of some toddlers' day. The caregivers of such age groups will work on this process on a basis that accommodates the children and puts them on a routine. Permission will be required of a parent before Bright Beginnings' caregivers will begin toilet training.

When allowed to begin toilet training, Bright Beginnings' caregivers will get information from the parent as to the method of training the parent is attempting at home. We will match that method as best as possible to maintain consistency between at-home training and at Bright Beginnings.
